  5. Panic disorder doesn't do that to pulse and blood pressure and troponins. Nor does it make you lose weight. And exercise does not make panic vastly worse. If you can stiffen your upper lip and swim during a panic attack, it will almost always subside in 15 to 20 minutes, if not sooner.
