@dylanzrim3635 Not exactly wrong. The point is that there is no solid evidence for the chemical imbalance model. Which means it should not have been promoted. Moreover, SSRI appear to benefit some people, above expected placebo effects. We do not know why.

@phillip wareham What do you think the risks are of increasing hippocampal neurogenesis? It sounds like a formula for cancer! I check the research every so often on the older drugs, like tricyclics, where the profit motive is absent, and no one seems to think they pose long-term harm to the brain of that nature, . . . So far! I have to wonder.
