  1. Here's a tip: people will not ask your age, but they will use your graduation date as a proxy. Graduating later can make you look younger. The most important thing is to graduate into a good economy for your sector. Think about whether to have a "Plan B" or to go for broke in a field where you love the work and excel naturally. People who advise you to forget your true passion and be "practical" may be doing you a grave disservice, because if you end up having to compete with people who LOVE love what they do, you probably can't. They may be able to work 50 and 60 hour weeks, no problem. That is always a drag -- and not practical, either.

  5. Remember: at age 40, you have the better part of three decades of work ahead of you. That's plenty in any job. Most people's pension won't be great before 68 to 70. Reality.

  7.  @JordanHarbingerShow  However you like is fine by me. But research "collectivist" mindsets, which are often hinted as being -- somehow, vaguely -- "inferior" to individualistic ones. Anyway, it primes people to construct social realities a bit differently. Or so I hear.
