From MSN, no paywall: The New York Times has finally admitted to the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop and the data contained within the device. In an article discussing Hunter Biden’s tax liability and potential criminal charges, The New York Times reporters noted that they and prosecutors gathered evidence from “a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop.”

There is now some evidence, from a whistleblower, and which must still be probed, that the FBI deliberately suppressed the laptop investigation to influence the election. No, I don't expect them to confirm anything about an ongoing investigation. They are not supposed to. DUH

@phantomblacklove This is another moral panic. If it's mutilation, why should a doctor be allowed to do it to an 18 year old? I'm serious. We need to have a real discussion, which you are working hard to prevent. I'm usually called a transphobe, by the way. @phantomblacklove So explain your position. Precisely what procedures should be illegal, and what should be the penalty, and how do you plan to enforce it? Should CPS be involved? Search warrants on clinics? Scrutinize puberty blockers prescribed for other purposes, such as pediatric cancers? Monitor talk therapies, presume they are "grooming?" Everyone is opposed to predators. WHO are the "predators?"

@phantomblacklove The irony is, I don't support irreversible procedures, either, and they don't magically become a good idea at 18. It's a matter of whether we should be expanding the criminal statutes yet again. Because we don't have enough people in prison. /s Tell me, are you as concerned for underage pregnant girls, some as young as 10? Because they seek abortions by the thousands every year. By comparison, drastic treatments for gender confusion is a fringe issue.

This is an admirable video. What bothers ME is that we cannot have a discussion of this. Just how much state control over medical decisions do people want, even for minors? Simply asking the question raises howls of "Groomer," etc. Come on. (Of course the other side attacks me for being a transphobe because I am not on board with what they propose.) I think that instituting a new criminal law is a last resort. And the point about tolerance for an adult (age 18?) who "chooses" to do this sounds broad minded and magnanimous, but wait a second -- if this surgery is akin to a lobotomy, then no one should have it, adult or not. We need to talk this out. If various medical boards can come to an agreement that everyone can live with, then we do not need a new criminal law and we do not need more people in prison. But people like Matt Walsh aren't willing to allow discussion. Do you see how he labeled Iversen? He did attempt to cancel her. I don't believe he cares about kids. The Hill Rising just did a segment on social workers in Texas who are quitting because they do not want to be required to police and report parents for how they choose to treat a gender confused child. Now the workforce needed to prevent child abuse and neglect that can result in death has been reduced, because of this "cultural" issue. This is nonsense. I may not agree with Kim on this, but her approach, and her right to raise the issue, is something I support completely.
