A public school needs to initiate sex education as part of health education to prepare students for puberty, and then when students attain the age of consent, they need certain information for their own safety. If it is done well, it will delay activity without ruining the experience for them when they become full-fledged adults. Do you imagine that no parents sexualize their children? Lots of evidence that they do.

  15. "The left" in the US is unrecognizable to any normal leftist European. For example, in France, the left lead the effort to make it illegal to ask a minor their COVID vaccine status. (As a result, no one asked anyone anymore, obviously.) This woman is also using the moment for indoctrination. That is a shame, as she is so right about so much. Integrity is lacking across the board. No one misses a moment to push an agenda or make a buck.

  20.  @Leo-mr1qz  Well, that would put it sooner than their 18th birthday, simply because most states have a lower age of consent, and because students do need to have certain information before turning 18. I am not defending any particular curriculum, simply saying why there does need to be sex education. I believe what you say about the curriculum you know, and that it is not good. No argument there.
