@seanb.4712 Very few Americans can retire at 62. People like police officers, school teachers, etc., often retire to a part-time gig, at least. One I know retired from a police force at 55 or so, after 30 years, went to Iraq for two years with a private contractor, made a ton, and then had no worries. Only then.

In the US, most people's Social Security pension is not very good before age 70. If an older couple has one really good breadwinner, that person can retire at full retirement age (67 for most new retirees), and the second can just wait it out to reach age 70. Yes. I'm serious. Only about 5% can fully fund an early retirement with IRAs, 401(k)s, other investments, a primary residence owned free and clear, etc.

@artmakersworlds None of this proves that Trump will be qualified in 2024 to be president from 2025 through 2028 (age 79 in January 2025, to 83 in January 2029). You're just repeating what I said. Biden is cognitively worse.

(A lot of carrying water for the Clintons in 1 and 2, huh? What's all that about?) 3. Why did he assassinate the Iranian general via drone without having an idea of what his role in the region actually was? 4. Why did the national debt continue to explode, even before COVID? 5. What was the problem in financial markets in the fall of 2019, when repo suddenly became an issue again? 6. Why was the moratorium on government funding of gain of function biological research lifted, just as Fauci wanted? 7. Why wasn't Fauci fired instead? 8. Why did he give encouragement to various sad sacks to break the law at various times? Or wasn't FBI entrapment under his command? Trump tweets "free Michigan" while the FBI sets up stings. 9. Do you support "Operation Warp Speed" for an entirely new virus and technology? Wasn't it predictable the Dems would try to impose mandates, just as they did with lockdowns? Was "warp speed" wise in any event?
