  33.  @mitch6160  I see plenty wrong with jeering at Biles. There is no reason to believe that she had any inkling in advance that this would happen. Her performance up until now gave no clue. If she had had these episodes before, then there would be something to debate. It still would not warrant scorn, but it would warrant criticism. But she was at the top of her game in the qualifying events. This is TRAGIC for her. She did nothing wrong.

  39.  @tauwan0  Did Simone Biles have ANY clue before now that she wouldn't be capable of performing? Any inkling? Any breakdown in her focus? She had landed some near-perfect performances a short time ago. (I was afraid she had peaked then, frankly. That can happen to anyone, and she cannot be faulted for failing to predict it.) If she had been struggling in the qualifying events, well, a person might agree with you. But that did not happen. If you are so good at foretelling the future, give us a stock tip.
