"Judeo-Christian" is a modern slogan, by the way, adopted to appear inclusive. During most of American history, Jewish people faced heavy discrimination.

When 16 year old kids had jobs, and 18 year olds were joining the armed forces or getting married or both, 16 was different from what it is in the age of (anti)social mass media and kids who don't even date or go out much on their own. Beauty pageants for these kids are a bad idea. They can never escape anything they did as minors. The pictures alone being online forever is a risk.

  50. Look, in 1970, a kid could get a minimum wage job and save up enough money over the summer to pay for a year of state college. And three roommates could get minimum wage jobs and rent an apartment ANYWHERE --- San Fran, Manhattan . . . Those were different people. Who created the world where that became impossible? Robby thinks that government is subsidizing college??
