  2. No. A lawyer first files papers in court, with real stuff in them, and only THEN holds a news conference. If there is a true threat to witnesses, she first arranges protection, then files in court, then tells the press about what is happening. I've never seen anything this brutishly incompetent. If she believes what she's saying, all the more reason to follow confidentiality rules and procedures, to protect her case. This evidence has to be presented to a court, not to AP News or Facebook.

I'm sorry that you've bought the line that truth depends on how well known or "powerful" the speaker is. It doesn't. Like I said, I am not saying anything you didn't know already. You did.
