There used to be this law called HIPPA, governing MEDICAL PRIVACY -- even Nancy Pelosi mentioned it (during the campaign) as the reason why the government cannot mandate vaccination. What happened?

The Guardian recently reported that teen boys are more likely to be hospitalized for vaccine side effects such as myocarditis than for a case of COVID even without the attenuating benefit of vaccination. But they should be mandated nevertheless? Why? Isn't this a little too new for children, most of whom are not at serious risk from COVID, to be forced to take the vaccines? Even the FDA gave Pfizer full approval for ages 16 and up, not for prepubescent or barely pubescent kids. You know they had a reason!

@nigredoooalgown6245 Guardian was quoting a scientific study that anyone can verify. They were not making it up. Risking known harm to minors for the sake of CONJECTURAL "herd immunity" is treating human beings as instruments rather than as intrinsically valuable. Don't look now, but you can be sure it will be your turn one day to be turned into an instrument for someone else's goals, if it hasn't happened already. Actually, coercive people almost always have been coerced themselves, and never overcame it and integrated it.

@nigredoooalgown6245 It's rather laughable to dismiss a reliable source that gives information anyone can independently verify, and to call them names, because it does not support you in your quest to mandate vaccination of minors. As if you would lift a finger for anyone whose child was harmed. They would become an inconvenience. That has already happened -- of course. People being treated as objects, as having only instrumental value, always has the same outcome. That's what mandates are. Try persuasion.

If testing as an alternative to a vaccine is an option for everyone, even if only the unvaccinated are required to be tested, why is there a problem? The lack of choices (and safety information) is the only problem.

Suddenly no one is talking about testing. I'd be glad to take a weekly test and pitch in for a copay to do it, no problem. Testing is better than vaccines, vaccines have breakthrough infections.
