Rarely does anyone suspect that Fauci and Trump played good cop bad cop. Well, I think so. Trump looked the other way when the gain of function research moratorium was lifted, and never tried to fire Fauci and find a competent replacement. (Rand Paul would have.) Trump is more responsible than Biden, so far. Biden is catching up fast.

  7. LOOK at the timeline. Why was there no timely notification? Why were the documents filed two years late? If Fauci did not know, WHY didn't he know? More important, if he didn't know, he shouldn"t be asserting that he does know and that no such research occurred. The only right answer was that they are pursuing all avenues of inquiry to find out where the virus came from. Fauci WAS a supporter of skirting the moratorium on funding gain of function research.
