@dracodraco1982 Do you think that a person suffering from gender dysphoria and going through puberty is exceptionally stable, unlike most teens? If so, they don't need treatment. They're doing great.

In the 1980s, UK doctors were performing FGM on the theory that it would happen clandestinely anyway. In France it was ILLEGAL. Period.

@genestarwind4610 Oh, so . . . No one actually gets castrated or sterilized, surgically or chemically. So it's just pronouns and clothes and talk therapy. Good to know. That's covered by First Amendment freedom of speech and expression. No problem then.

If this is just a passing fad, and no life-altering surgery or dangerous drugs are to be administered to minors, then by all means, go right ahead with counseling and pronouns. I support having all medical insurers required to pay for the counseling, even if my premium goes up. There. Now that I brought up 💰, you must know I mean it.
