  1.  @joesecord3066  Except that we know vaccinated people have contracted COVID. In vaccinated people who get it, it is very mild. We don't know that they can't transmit it. With most people not yet vaccinated, this is appalling. Roughly speaking, a vaccine protects me more than others, and a mask protects OTHER people more than me. So logically, you can take off your mask only in places where everyone has had the vaccine.

When you've had the shot and develop mild flu, you have to be careful not to infect someone who is unvaccinated. That has happened to me. I had a tiny flu, but my doctor told me to stay home because I could get an unvaccinated person sick.

  5.  @MrMoon36O  I wasn't scared in the first place. And I'm not telling anyone to take any non-FDA approved medication. I was arguing in favor of protecting those who choose not to take a vaccine now. My mask protects them.

  7.  @MrMoon36O  Look up Nassim Taleb's analysis of mask wearing. He teaches the mathematics of risk analysis at NYU. He is not just the black swan guru. Congress's little cosplay was disgusting. Like a mob of high schoolers. No calm discussion, explanation, or gravitas, where over 500,000 have died. That was sheer propaganda. Masks are real, and have real utility. They do not have to be perfect to be useful.
