@jaybleu6169 I didn't know there was anywhere in the 48 states where $700 covers a month of food and gas, even for ONE person -- especially if you have no kitchen, but even if you do. Will the necessary aid be forthcoming within a month for everyone?

@jaybleu6169 I just looked up the minimum wage in Hawaii: $12.00 per hour. Given a 35-hour week, and subtracting taxes, is $700 the equivalent of two weeks? How long will insurance take? And need-based aid? Weren't a lot of tourist destinations suffering economically more than other areas during the pandemic? So, had these communities fully recovered from that ordeal when they were hit? Apparently some were without water for days.

@jaybleu6169 I didn't think it was all, and I don't think anyone did. It is ridiculously low for right now. The point is to relieve stress --- as much stress as possible, as quickly as possible. Something is wrong with this picture. Were a lot of the people living there very wealthy? Were lower income people intermingled with billionaires? Let's see how many succumb to the predatory investors. Then we'll know what the real idea was.
