  2. YES, they can be removed, absolutely -- however, since the Civil War/Reconstruction Era, congressmembers have only been expelled after conviction. There is always a risk that charges may be partisan. The presumption of innocence needs to be respected in every way. But can they remove him? OF COURSE. He is a proven pathological liar.
