Making this illegal means the one person in several million who actually needs the treatment will be denied care. The fact that it will probably be made illegal is a testament to how unethical doctors have been. The need for a law shows they cannot oversee and govern themselves. Tragic all around.

No she was not. She was asking what a normal reporter is supposed to ask, and allowing the guest to respond to criticisms routinely made of her. You expect ideologues stroking you, careful not to say anything that sounds like it might deviate from your preferred view? So go find some. That's easy.

If these treatments are generally harmful, what is magic about age 18? Maybe it should never, or almost never, be done at all. There are a lot of mental health treatments that we no longer do.

I watched this part twice. It was a normal reporter's question, allowing her to answer a criticism that has been leveled at her. Sheesh. Maybe we all need a basic journalism/new media class? Bri was doing her job.

@tilleryinnovations592 Duh. Of course I listened. Cat did not transition when she was a minor but in her late twenties. The question let her elaborate on why she is testifying now, and on what basis, concerning prepubescent and early pubescent transitioning, which has suddenly proliferated. I don't see the problem with the question, frankly. I though she gave a good answer, too. Someone who looked up Cat's bio could have found that out, and then attacked The Hill for inviting her "because she didn't transition as a minor!!?!?"
