The only thing he ever did was "say the quiet part out loud." Remember when he said he wanted all Americans to have access to the COVID treatment he had, which may have actually saved his life and certainly saved his health? Right. We STILL don't.

  21. Saw the whole clip. Dr. Birx's logic is that 80 to 95% of people over 70 are fully vaccinated, but they account for only about half of all deaths, not 80%+, as expected. So, vaccination does cut the death rate in people that age. She is recommending Paxlovid to bring the rate down further, and still recommends vaccines and boosters for 70 and older. MSM won't bring you that "nuance," and YT will punish people who do. It's not coercive enough.

Instead of saying confusing things, if there were just one person to acknowledge that the vaccines have, in some respects, been a disappointment but that they have the following benefits, and then list the information honestly, and THEN comment on how great that is. The vaccine critics who were themselves vaccinated all do. The fact that they solved antibody-dependent enhancement when they developed these vaccines is huge. The worry among some doctors that there is such a thing as too many boosters is real, but so far, no matter how many boosters and how many bouts of COVID, no one has ever gotten a worse case, but has either gotten no case or a milder one than their last case.

  23.  @joeterzio7175  The reason she says that is that the time period of observation post vaccination/placebo was so short, and there still appeared a handful of breakthrough infections. Read the first Pfizer consent forms. They never once promised full immunity from contraction, of any variant; they said very high degree of resistance to infection for at least six months, and likely longer. It was the media that exaggerated the efficacy; the manufacturers and informed medical care providers did not. That's just true. No one can point the finger at them.
