  10. @soberanisfam1323  This is true, and it is the greatest change: from the end of WWII through most of the 70s, the US clearly had the greatest upward mobility, and generally good living conditions for at least the top three quintiles in income, and probably four. We were the best in that regard. This hasn't been true for nearly two generations now -- and we all see the result. Add in the fact that money seems to be all that matters, and . . . Well.
