  2. Puzzle: do people believe she was trying to mock Megyn Kelly for Kelly's defense of blackface at Halloween, or do they think she was using that as an excuse to let her secret, inner racist out? Or is she just too dim to work in media? I'm not sure I get this one. Anyway, someone else wanted her plum job, that's clear.

  7. Of course. You have a heart. There really is a huge problem in this society. If I want to have a pleasant conversation, with a polite person, with whom I do not have to be hypervigilant, always on the lookout for some some sort of rudeness, aggression, or jockeying for position, I usually have to avoid whites. I'm serious. I do not mean Europeans. I mean what James Baldwin meant. I cannot begin to tell you . . . Thanks for your comment, and it is the best one. Comes as no surprise to me.
