  1. ​@WeToddEd-r3g First of all, this is preliminary research. Standing alone, it does not and cannot lead to a clinical recommendation. Perhaps it tells us to hold off on treatment, to respect cognitive diversity? Second, assuming treatment is warranted -- which is, at least, likely -- why the most drastic treatment?

  2. Please do. I prefer to call it eugenics, but that's just me. Seriously though, since we are all supposed to be for protecting the future reproductive choices of all children, how can this be allowed to pass so easily?

  4. ​ @philpaul9634 Well, it may be reversible if used properly -- started at age 8, closely monitored, and stopped by age 11. It is not reversible if the goal is gender reassignment.
