  1. We got a good look this time at the disdainful expression Robbie has when he looks at her. I didn't know, since they usually only show her response, making her look bad. Robbie doesn't have half the education she does. She certainly worked harder to get the same job.

  5. Listen, this turned out to be like the pregnant little ten year old girl, that Fox News claimed didn't exist. I thought the tweet was shocking, until I learned the woman's own family died at the hands of British imperialists. That changes the picture. Your quips don't count. You can try to make them count. They don't.

  7.  @EZEonIon  I don't know that she HAD to work harder, I stated that she did, in fact, work harder. Would she have had to? I don't see how we can know that for certain. This was the first time I got a good look at how Robbie condescends to her, in his facial expression. That's why I mentioned it. I didn't know.

  9.  @EZEonIon  Education most certainly is necessary for journalism, though not necessarily degrees. But when I think of good independent journalists, I do think of people who went to school: Greenwald, Poitras,Taibbi, Iversen, etc., come to mind quickly.

  10.  @EZEonIon  All true. It is much harder to do than people realize, too. The Internet is a two-edged sword. I know it has caused me to waste too much time by far, but also let me know about books, music, movies that I might not have found out about, or had such ready access to.

  12. This is the stupidest, anhistorical remark. How did they live before any Europeans showed up? Less morally enlightened than the imperialists who killed them to dominate them and loot their resources? What did that little island need to roam the world for lucre, anyway? How incredibly needy.

  17.  @EZEonIon  I usually don't mind Robbie, and Kim and Bri could both hold their own, but he simply is not sufficiently well informed to be so disdainful. He comes up with so much nonsense, and his lack of knowledge and maturity (life experience, etc.) really shows. I don't care if someone that young happens not to have heard of something or other -- they know many things that I don't. It's when they think they are so much smarter than they are that it irks me.
