The Supreme Court is hearing arguments concerning abortion while Ghislaine Maxwell is on trial. "Awkward"

Yet, I mean. So far.

Um, Justice Barrett has two adopted children, and her youngest birth child has special needs. I wish she were still a law professor, not a judge. I also wish she had never been mistreated or maligned in the media. My politics are the polar opposite of hers, yet the rudeness she suffered still made me physically sick.

I oppose mandates. Every legitimate left-wing party in Europe does as well. In the US, all you see are "Team Blue" bullies, for some reason. They also have a record of supporting lots of bombs and drones.

Plenty of them want to forbid free speech if it's offensive, and curtail Fifth Amendment rights. Just now they wanted to make Brian Laundrie's parents talk, and prosecute them for remaining silent. Whenever Americans think something is "immoral," rightly or wrongly, they go full Witch Hunt.

In a single state. Overturning Roe does not ban abortion. It leaves the issue up to the individual states.

So, the Constitution doesn't protect my privacy in making some of the most personal, intimate decisions about my body and my health? Why does that notion make me uncomfortable during a pandemic? Hm. I wonder.

@ProDeo04 Small problem: the Founders left regulation of slavery up to the states. Clear intent, no question.

@ProDeo04 Another small problem: you cannot force a father to donate a pint of blood to save his toddler's life -- or his pregnant wife's. We all agree he is immoral to refuse, and we're shocked by his callousness. But the state cannot make him do it.

@ProDeo04 One more problem: at the time the Constitution was adopted, the US did not have strict laws concerning abortion. Read Roe v. Wade and find out.
