  4. @billpierce3037  Well . . . The IRA and 401k have existed for roughly two generations now. Where are all the millionaires who don't need Social Security? Something that works for 10% of people isn't a plan. If it worked for 85%, you could ask what the other 15% did wrong (and the answer might still be nothing, but the question would be sensible). You cannot claim 90% did something wrong.
