Everyone needs to read Nadine Strossen's Hate Speech. Everyone. I suspect most people don't understand. EDIT: The subtitle of Hate Speech is "Why we should resist it with free speech, not censorship." The entire book is against censorship. (It has come to my attention that some people don't even know who Strossen is.) 🤣

@kyactivetm As a citizen, he has a free speech right to say what he said. (Non-citizens do as well, they just can't vote to implement their preferences.)

Robby focused on the fact that our definition of "incitement to violence" sets a very high standard. We allow a lot of speech that other countries would define as incitement, or as intentional infliction of emotional distress that can give rise to a lawsuit. I like keeping our laws exactly where they are, but that area of law is one that merits discussion. (Remember Westboro Baptist church picketing funerals? Or the cross burning cases?) The stuff in that 60 Minutes clip is a nightmare.
