@goldilox369 I think everything you say is 100% true, but as far as masks are concerned, I see the point that keeping them on is a symbol of refusal to to return to what is normal for us. But if masks can facilitate in-person instruction, then they serve a purpose now. The parochial schools by us are still in session, with in-person learning from the start of the school year, and reevaluating periodically, based on public health statistics. Everyone must wear masks. I'm not going to be riding public transit without a mask for a good long time. Probably would have been wise all along.
