  1. (4) All I can say is, don't get baited. Police violence is real, racism is very real. Of course those most to blame will shift the blame. Shifting blame is how they prosper. They are the pros at avoiding responsibility while lining their pockets, . . . and of course divide and conquer. In the cities I know well, the most devoutly Christian people are black, . . . or sometimes Latin American.

  3. Re: abortion . . . You know what? I have no objection to the following message, protected for you (and everyone else) by the First Amendment, no less: choose life. Provided both words are meant wholeheartedly. In fact, with the emphasis I just supplied, I can really get behind it. And unless you want a pregnancy police and a hugely expanded CPS, not to mention even more surveillance than we already suffer under, there is no point whatsoever in trying to make elective abortion illegal. Not to mention that every fertility treatment would have to be reviewed, with many of them banned. IOW, not the force of criminal law, but persuasion. That's all anyone has a right to try.
