  3. TRADE/VOCATIONAL schools also require taking out loans, and were slated to be forgiven.

  4. I wish it were made clear that trade schools require loans as well, and those would be forgiven on the same basis. The real ton of money is going to colleges, true, but that's because more people borrow more money for college.

They used to have a summer job and an on-campus cafeteria or library job, or wait tables a few nights per week and not need more than a few bucks from mom and dad for airfare, train fare, or gas to come home for Christmas. This is news to you?
