  1. Read Strossen's book on hate speech. Or find out how many people here lost a job over supporting the boycott of Israel (where the issue is freely debated, and profs who are for it had colleagues stand up for them). Maybe you are just focusing on tweets?

  3.  @Krangbot  You're mesmerized by Hollywood, which I agree is vile. I agree they have the more sinister techniques of quasi-brainwashing. They don't promote left-wing ideas; they promote standard DNC, Clintonism, Kamala Harris, and all that rot. But the actual firings are happening to the left. You just don't count those. You don't know those people's names. "We can all see" isn't about what happens, it's about what's visible.

  11.  @Krangbot  BDS was considered illegal discrimination in several states, and Abby Martin sued. Supporting BDS could get you fired from a state job, such as a public school or a state university. You can look up Abby Martin's suit.

  13. Also, read Nadine Strossen or Henry Louis Gates, Jr.: the neolibs and their allies keep trying to pass hate speech laws, and as soon as they do, it's the left that suffers. You won't see the stories on social media much. You have to check out library books.

  16. Read Strossen's book on hate speech. Or research all the profs and others who were censored and fired for supporting the boycott against Israel. There is a debate in Israel about the boycott, and they have a peace and justice movement. Why would Americans be targetted for supporting it? She made excellent points here overall.

  18. That's not what free speech is. If you cannot be free of death threats, or if you cannot maintain the job you need to live, then that's not free. What a ridiculous comment. "We won't jail you. We'll fire you instead, and blackball you, like the medieval church."
