Maybe you scare hard or really easily. For example, COVID didn't scare me, and no one can browbeat me into a vaccine I have serious reservations about. You?

  6.  @gnlout7403  No, actually, most reasonable people (and thus also the law) would not treat those words, in that context, as a genuine threat. The fact that she calmly called in a 911 report rather than FIRST seeking safety, by removing herself from the area proves she did not, either. Please don't go into law enforcement. Should I really believe you? One of my closest friends was a Marine, enlisted right after 9/11, put in 13 years, and I cannot imagine him agreeing that was a genuine threat. He would have thought the guy was rude and abrasive, but threatening? I'll have to ask him, I'm curious now.

When someone comes up with a hysterical reaction and then some trivial something, granted that ad hominem in response cannot be justified, but it certainly can be explained. I say the same in all similar circumstances. After the last round of hysterical fearmongering we have been subjected to -- of course I speak of COVID -- I really cannot stand anymore . . . And in service of WHAT? You're the one who needs to think this through. Who, in the face of a THREAT, calls the police in the presence of the Threatening Person, when she could easily get away first and then report what happened? No one. And shame on anyone who refuses to acknowledge that. It is the most basic advice of what to do in the face of danger.
