Russell Brand never said his conduct was not gross. He said it was.

5:05 Try LISTENING. Barely more than one minute. You can do it.

Full agreement. 💯 But advertisers will take her opinion into account. That's the problem.

NOT HER POINT AT ALL . . . What makes this relevant, suddenly, when Russell himself wrote about these things? THAT was her question. As for Turner, the timing of the outrage was suspicious as well.

Some truth here, too. American exceptionalism strikes again.

Brand doesn't defend what he did back then, either.

EXCELLENT POINT

@joshuagonzalez3249 For crossing state lines or transmitting images, it is 18 under federal law. That's too young for images, in my opinion! Too young to act in pornographic films. Should be 21, like drinking.

Most US states have 16 as the age of consent.

No police report, no report to an attorney (who is an officer of the court), no sworn affidavit, no testimony under oath in a court or tribunal --- an anonymous report to mainstream media, followed by a "documentary" using actors in the shadows, not the actual accusers. This is enough to destroy a person's career? This?? It's not enough for an arrest.

She DIDN'T. Her point was that in an even worse case, Turner was allowed to have a career, no problem, until suddenly he wasn't. The timing was suspicious there, too, and the facts were known all along.

That's what she said. Suddenly, this story, which Russell never hid, is crucial.

@omarscarborough4274 The POINT Brie made was that the outrage materialized suddenly, at a suspicious time in his career, when the facts were known much before that. The same seems to be the case with Brand.
