  7. In general, the vaccine lowers the severity of the COVID cases that do arise, lowers the risk of death, and keeps more hospital beds free. Those are the only things it has ever been shown to do. And for only about 6 to 9 months.

Overall, it's still true that statistically, a group of vaccinated people will have less severe COVID if they do contract it than a group of the unvaccinated, but I think you're right that the difference between the two groups is smaller than they claim it is. Nothing new. :/ They lie and they browbeat.
