I think this is the time to have a discussion, FINALLY. We never had a democratic consensus about ANY of it. No one asked us. They manipulated people into shouting down dissent.

@kam0406 There are sporadic, large outbreaks of a slightly different variant of Omicron. It seems to have peaked in UK, coming here now, and doesn't seem to be so bad. A lot of people have natural immunity, too. It isn't everywhere now, and probably won't be.

@jadex0x0 There is evidence they make some difference. I think it's a prudent, noninvasive choice. Mandates for kids under 12 or outdoors never made sense. The case for indoor mandates depends on the place. Hospitals enforce them.
