@D.A.OhK. Did Japan do better because it had less freedom? Did the Scandinavian countries? I don't ask rhetorically. I want to know, actually. How a pandemic could become politicized I will never understand. That is a sign of a sick society.

@D.A.OhK. I agree about the extreme, self-defeating self-centeredness. That includes the mindless censorship, shouting down and shaming the few who were harmed by the vaccine, rather than having compassion for them, and debating whether an unvaccinated person is entitled to a hospital bed, even though the fact sheet accompanying consent to be vaccinated stated categorically that declining vaccination will not affect health care in any way. I can assure you, this did not encourage trust.

@D.A.OhK. You blame individual people, when it is the leaders who are most to blame -- whether it be Trump, Pence, Fauci, Kamala, or Nancy. They all scurried to benefit in one way or another. The acceleration of the upward transfer of wealth, the destruction of small, independent businesses, and the increase in mindless censorship and outright lying, are just a coincidence I am sure.

@D.A.OhK. BTW, I edit by making a minor spacing change, to test for censorship. You can always find out whether your posts are being shadowed (only you can see them, in other words) by testing for the ability to edit.
