@KolkoCat They said the change in diagnostic criteria and better detection cannot account for all of the increase, which is very likely true, but they should keep an open mind about it. It's not impossible. If kids are being given a diagnosis of some neurological issue when they just have a relatively unusual personality type and uncommon interests, that's a travesty in itself. Quit medicalizing everything! Start by trying better nutrition, a better social environment, more sports and less screen time, etc.
