  9. @scratchpenny  Yup. The fact that he heads a company that makes a real thing -- electric cars -- sets him apart right there. Setting up mechanisms that combine advertising and mass surveillance, and draw people into compulsive self-disclosure, is going to be worse. Some of his workers have had shockingly bad experiences, though.
