  2.  @mrsleep0000  Exactly, I had said Microsoft, not Gates -- but his holdings at that time would have suffered. I think we all learned this when the BP oil well in the Gulf blew up. The CEO went on to a better job. Not a penny of his salary or stock options could be clawed back. Same for the 2008 debacle. Short of proven fraud, they never have to face any punishment except from their Board, and that's in the form of being asked to leave. (Like, big deal.)

  3. That's funny. The Miami Herald did one of the greatest exposes in journalistic history. Prince Andrew was among the people close to Epstein who lost his status in the royal family when he was found out. Epstein mentor Wexner is a major donor to Harvard, their Kennedy School in fact, a think-tank for government policy that affects us all. Missed all that, huh?

  4.  @slydog7131  The point is that the news was amazingly hard to miss. But I guess if you say you managed, we have to take your word. Only you would know. There's a bigger point: as soon as it's off the front page, there is a mysterious full-court press to hush it up. I wonder why that always seems to happen. I'm sure no one replaced Epstein. The exploitation ended with him. And there is no black book. Those are myths. /s

  6.  @veronicanicholls7132  Also, the interviewer let him off the hook: the NYTimes reported that Gates did give at least two million dollars to a favored Epstein cause, at Epstein's behest. Gates makes it sound like that did not happen. It was just dinner and a movie without the movie.
