It was ALWAYS a fundamental principle that you NEVER give a drug to a perfectly healthy person that might harm them more than contracting the disease it is supposed to prevent. That was a fundamental MORAL principle.

@robbsclassics THIS. If you do careful research, and especially into what countries with better childhood health are doing, you will see that some vaccines are proven to be beneficial. The thing to look for is whether the child has lower all-cause mortality after the vaccine. THAT is what a childhood vaccine ought to do. Those are the good ones.

@j.a.c.3776 I respect RFK, and what he has done takes huge courage in the current environment, but keep in mind that Kennedy is an outstanding tort lawyer. He will therefore make a case with the evidence for his side, and not give the other side. If you know that, then yes, do read him, and check his footnotes, too. But he will not give you the whole picture. That takes much more digging. I believe there are good vaccines. I believe there are better schedules than the one forced on our babies.

@robbsclassics Hon. I just agreed with you. "THIS" means 100%. I just agreed with you. Not everyone has your source of information. We post for others as well.

@moosehead1183 No, actually, it's not the whole picture, but it is an important part of the picture. Of course RFK has been effectively challenged, because some of what he says is not factual but a matter of judgment. Should you give an infant all of the recommended vaccines at the earliest recommended age, versus giving them the measles vaccine the summer before kindergarten?

@AnaLucia-wy2ii I have no special knowledge about it. *If* being spared chicken pox can prevent shingles later it life, without another vaccine, then it seems like a good idea. At least it has been around a long time, so there should be decent information about it. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.

@AnaLucia-wy2ii I wish that these idiots had not done what they did with the COVID vaccines! A vaccine, like any drug, is strictly case by case. There are some that are great, and we know that because we've used them for generations -- and that is the only way to be absolutely sure. Too bad they have the same label, "vaccine," as this stuff! The basic principle is that the ones that result in lower overall mortality from all infectious diseases, because they've managed to stimulate the developing immune system in just the right way (which usually means they've imitated nature very well), are the best ones. There are vaccines that do that. It's not asking too much! They are supposed to. :) Plus, there is NO drug that is right for every person. None. Humility is essential, instead of having "authorities" pushing people around.
