LOL, it's a public university. I suggest you investigate before speaking --- or at least watch the entire video first.

It's not illegal to support Hamas with speech alone. What made you think it was? And if that's not illegal, then, obviously, demonstrating against a plausible case of genocide committed with actual US weapons and funding is perfectly legal.

We don't need passes to cross state lines.

@timoegan You and OP have absolutely no idea what they do or don't know, or whether they work. Students at state schools often have jobs, and are older than 18 to 21.

If they are students, where is the trespass? Would a student with an Israeli flag pin in the very same place be arrested?

@ncirel1 ICJ ruling, and subsequent evidence of crimes and systematic suppression of food, water, medical supplies.

@tonifoley2218 Even assuming that made sense, where do you find a declaration of war by the US against Hamas, the Palestinians, etc., or vice versa?

Actually, that would be the Texas governor. Robby was fine this time.

@realolivertwisted Actually, that's legal, too. It's just absurd on its face.

LOL, all are protected speech. What country do you live in?

Well then you clearly never bothered to learn a single thing about our most important right.

@bmass0828 What is the extent of US funding of other recent wars that included war crimes, with our money and our weapons? What is the extent of the death and destruction in those conflicts? If they are comparable, that does not negate protesting this war, but it's a good question to ask where people were during these other, US-funded conflicts.

It's not illegal to be weird.

Is a Proud Boys demonstration, or a speech by the author of The Bell Curve, "harassment of blacks?"

@The-Heart-Will-Testify The evidence of early Likud support for Hamas as the political entity least likely to make a good case for the two state solution is the most chilling part of this ordeal. There is nothing simple about this story except the First Amendment rights part. Yet people don't get that, either. And it's OUR amendment!

@ncirel1 Of course, when journalists are killed in record numbers, that affects the documentation. Still, the information gets out.
