I just found a version The Privilege Walk and tried it out. I think it's a good way of opening up a frank discussion. It does not belong in K-12 or the workplace. College and similar settings could be good for doing this. The PROBLEM is that people feel they can't speak freely about the experience. But it isn't inherently propagandistic. .

@Fudzbo This is a brilliant comment. OP and yours. We are raised on advertising, which has displaced education. Everything you've described are dirty sales techniques.

@lunarvision Oh is that so? When where my remaining family now lives was bombed with depleted uranium, I had to hear all about how wonderful that was, except that it was too bad a few beautiful buildings were damaged.

@lunarvision It is relevant as an example of what a person is supposed to put up with in the American workplace. A lot of this stuff is illegal in many EU countries. Bosses can get away with experimenting with you, essentially, here in the US.

@EbluestarE About any law firm I have ever worked for or known about, yes. They consider themselves so far above the hoi polloi, they would never allow it. Would they tell a client to do it at its business, as insurance against discrimination claims, provided it would not result in "reverse" discrimination claims? If they thought it would be effective, and they got paid well for the advice, OF COURSE.

Isn't that what everyone learns in school, K through college? They sure do act like they've been trained exactly that way when they get to the workplace.
