  4.  @dustinavant2003  It never stopped the spread, and the vaccine manufacturers' fact sheet and release forms, which were lengthy, never made this claim. I guess no one read them. They were a lot more careful and measured, compared with what MSM was telling you.

I watched the studies carefully and never saw one that claimed the vaccine was effectively doing more than slowing the spread for the initial form of COVID and the variants prior to Omicron. The effect was known to last six months, and how long thereafter was unknown. This is different from stopping spread, for a whole host of reasons. Not to suggest at all that slowing the spread of the more dangerous types was unimportant (obviously some lives were saved, and medical care workers got to catch a breath), but it does have ramifications for predicting the course of the pandemic.
