  1. Did she actually graduate as valedictorian, having worked for it and earned it? Is that not a concern for you? I think that's the most important thing. But it is true that the American campus is unsafe. That's just a fact. We have shooter drills all the time, correct? Robby was good here, actually.

We don't know what her valedictorian speech would consist in, and a private university has every right to review the speech and caution the speaker not to deviate from what she proposed to say. That she said something a lot of people don't like in an entirely different context shouldn't matter. Would you say the same if her tweets called for the end of Syria or Russia, or a call for China to withdraw from Tibet? I wish we were better versed in free speech law. Granted, this is a private university, but I think California requires free speech on all campuses.
