If the kid did not attempt to cross the threshold of the door to the home without permission, then there is NO ground for using force, much less deadly force. NO stand your ground law permits you to shoot in response to a doorbell ring, much less to shoot a second time when the man is already down.

WHY WAS THE HOMEOWNER RELEASED? No, Brie, they can hold him for 72 hours before charges must be filed or the person must be released. NO, he did NOT have the right to use deadly force, or any force, in response to a doorbell ring. Not unless the person crossed the threshold without permission. NO "stand your ground" law says that you can.

@davidsegura4910 Irrelevant. There is no "stand your ground" law that permits you to use deadly force on someone who did not attempt to cross the threshold of your door without your permission. Your imagination, your cowardice, or your video watching history are irrelevant.
