  1. Taking the vaccine has basically nothing to do with trusting its manufacturer. Have you seen the data on the other vaccines? The serious side effects in general, from all of the vaccines, are almost exclusively suffered by women. We need comprehensive answers.

  2. A true one-in-a-million rate of complications occurs in every single medication and procedure. Aspirin. Circumcision. Peanut allergy is about 1% of the population. So peanuts are 10,000 times more dangerous. OTOH, the people who wonder if the true rate is higher are asking a question that deserves an answer.

  3.  @Angelknot8  That's not what I read. I read that they are warning against use in people with any history of severe allergy. They did not stop using it.

  6. To me, J&J seemed like a lower risk. The virus is new, hence we cannot mitigate that risk. Now, for mRNA vaccines, the technology is new for mass use as well. J&J and Sputnik V have a traditional technology. So, that's one less issue. Also, I'm thinking this could become an annual shot, like the flu. Another reason I didn't want mRNA technology. I am not sure that I want to adopt that technology for annual use. I could be wrong, you know? The description of the mRNA vaccine tech is pretty interesting and could be a huge breakthrough. They need to be more candid with us. It's about trust.

  12.  @theciakilledjfk5973  We are supposed to trust people who jeer at us and call us names to take care of us if something goes wrong. Well, as you can see, there was a groundswell for Medicare for All as soon as we realized we were in a pandemic. /s The irrationality is staggering. And I am very PRO-vaccine. I've asked for some they've said I don't need. I got Prevnar 13 the minute it was recommended for more general use, not just people over 60 or 65. That was in 2016 I think.
