  1. There may be an ethical argument here, certainly, but as a matter of law I see NO WAY this could be a crime. How could anyone find beyond reasonable doubt that this was a criminal homicide?

  2.  @BradfordHills  Everyone I read agrees it was self-defense. I don't understand why he was charged. I understand why he was taken into custody. I understand why they needed to investigate this, watch the video frame by frame, etc., all that. Sure. I understand why some people may disagree with what he did, or regret he did what he did. So what? That doesn't mean it was a crime.

  4. The limit is that you yourself cannot act to provoke an assault, then claim self-defense. That has always been the law. Ryan admits Alba did not provoke the assault.
