There was no good way for this election to end. Biden is at best less bad than Trump; at worst, as bad but in a different and more conventional way. Probably the former. I'll give ya that.

Who bungled the COVID response, despite having ample opportunity to get it right? Who was too LAZY to get Congress to pass $2000 checks last year, which he had the leverage to do, or at least be seen trying real hard? And who gave tacit approval to Charlottesville and January 6th. The man is, at the very least, stupid and lazy, to put a too nice face on it.

(Then 95% of humanity is the problem, i.e., the number not living in the US.) Where do we find a bottom? Every time I thought we had found one, all of the major political players in both parties took us lower. Trump accelerated that process like no one before him. He very nearly started a much more serious conflict with Iran, and didn't end any of our other wars with anyone else. Hillary, we know, was far more thirsty for war. What lunatic Hillary would have done is anyone's guess.
