  2.  @tyoung319  The New York Times reported that the US negotiated with China for three months to influence Putin to restrain himself in Ukraine. Not only did China refuse, it opened a back channel to denounce the US efforts to Putin himself. It was a front page article online, then was buried. But last I checked it was not removed, yet. So yeah, things are not what they may seem.
