@RarebitFiends So, THEY structured their monopoly to shelter it. Well, I'm shocked.

Anyone who supported censorship during the pandemic or over gender issues should face up to what they have done. Now you know. We told you so.

@ason4641 I've heard her call for treating these tech companies as utilities. But there is no law in place allowing that, yet. Your phone company can't listen in on your call, monetize it for targeted advertising, then drop it if you say bad words.

@Marty234 For the record, I support many of the protestors now, and above all the Jewish Voice for Peace lawsuit against Columbia. I supported free speech yesterday and I support it today. Nadine Strossen told us where this was going . . . :/

ARG!! You caught me!!! I'm the one taking down your posts!

@mack1305 Because she is not a monopolist in any event. That is what makes Google different, under the law. Her own spending habits might be virtuous or not, she may be happy to pay more in taxes or not. That is what has no bearing on the issue with Google.

Given that the US is arming one side in this war, and the ICJ has ruled that that side is engaged in a plausible genocide, then yes, there is a logic to protesting in the US. Ask yourself why you don't see that.

@ason4641 That she agreed with the state of the law, or that the state of the law is such?
