@catherinemacaskill1421 There's no "obsession," and tons of evidence. The way you can tell is that Ryan Grim of The Intercept and The New York Times acknowledge as much. He is among those responsible for vaccine hesitancy -- as opposed to outright opposition, which is quite a different matter. When people who have always gotten every other recommended vaccine promptly are leery of this one, there has been a failure of leadership, among other things. The litany of falsehoods uttered by this man was catalogued on The Hill Rising just the other day, with Grim adding a point to Kim's report. Besides all that, he's about to turn 81. Can you be serious? He would need to be clearly without peer not to have retired by now -- which he clearly is not.

@joeterzio7175 Just out of curiosity, what is "dangerous" about the idea that this epidemic was the result of a lab leak? You don't imagine that would argue against vaccination, do you? It is either neutral or favorable to vaccination, if you think it through for a moment.

@joeterzio7175 So why don't we know the origin of this one, given that previous coronaviruses did not defy tracing?

@joeterzio7175 Repeating what you clearly don't know very much about may be an effective means of persuasion, but it has no bearing on reality.

@joeterzio7175 YOU think someone else is politicized? Let the facts fall where they may. There has been a lack of transparency for some reason.

@joeterzio7175 "Occurred naturally?" What does that mean? That it jumped from an animal to people, without at least being collected by TWIV for study? Without any intervention of that nature by that laboratory?
1
@joeterzio7175 But lab accidents are common as well. VERY common.

@norman_5623 An advanced knowledge of expert witness evidentiary standards. No, he doesn't sound like he has a level of knowledge above that found in reasonably educated people. But as you like. It doesn't matter. Does it?

@norman_5623 Did I suggest shutting it down? Straw man necessary? Why would that be? /s
