  1. Major corporations spend more on lobbying than taxes, and it's money well spent. They write our tax code, then buy up Treasury bonds instead of paying taxes. Guess what? Then we owe them money, in the form of interest on those T bonds. Instead of paying taxes, they get interest. And we pay for it.
