  2. I think this business about the Trump cabal being anti-Deep State is sheer ruse. His DOJ indicted Assange, his administration discussed assassinating Assange. The Deep State increased its prestige enormously during Trump. Don't be sure this was a legitimate reaction to Trump's disdain for the Deep State. It could have been his plan all along to rebuild it.
